The Parish Annual Meeting of Warslow and Elkstones Wednesday, 22nd May 2024 at 7.15 pm in Warslow Village Hall
Present: Members of Warslow and Elkstones Parish Council Mr N Searston, Mrs J Nash, Mrs C Allsop, Mr S Gould, The clerk to the parish council and District Councillor Mr J Kempster. There were no members of the public in attendance.

1. Report by the previous year’s Chairman of the Parish Council
Mr N Searston gave a report to those present. He thanked the District Councillor for his regular attendance. It was very positive that there are now no vacancies on the parish council with some new members having joined. He thanked everyone for their help and support.
He complimented Warslow Village Hall Committee for their provision for the community and an increase in events now being held there.
Securing new burial facilities within Warslow Village is a priority for the parish council and reported that the parish council is now in a much healthier financial position to offer help and support in the pursuit of this.
Mr Searston hoped the year would continue to be even better.
2. Public speaking
There were no members of the public in attendance.
The meeting was declared closed at 7.30 pm to be followed by the annual meeting of the parish council.
